The Carolinas Chapter of the Health Ministry Association is the professional organization for North and South Carolinians who practice wholistic ministry. They represent diverse Faith groups. Members serve as Parish Nurses, Chaplains, Clergy, and Health Promoters in both salaried positions and volunteer activities. Members benefit from networking, educational programs, an annual spiritual retreat and a connection to the resources available from National HMA. Members enjoy reduced fees for Chapter programs and eligibility for event scholarships. The organization has grown over the past decade to over 160 members.
